Abstract
Pointed condylomas are a disease caused by 'human papilloma virus' (HPV). Their presence in the genital, perineal and perianal region is a precancerous condition. Two cases of squamous cell carcinoma originating from perianal pointed condylomas, treated by radical surgery because of their size and progression stage, are presented. In comparison with other methods of treatment, radical surgery is characterized by the highest percentage of cures. No signs of relapse were observed during two- and five-year follow-up in the reported cases.
